Confirm both sides of compatibility
Your phone must support the relevant eSIM configuration, and your provider must support eSIM on the chosen product. A device may store several profiles while permitting only a smaller number to operate together. Check the manufacturer’s guidance and the provider’s current product instructions.
Keep the activation route secure
Use the official app, account or instructions supplied by the provider. An activation code or QR image can be sensitive. Do not send it to an independent information service. Make sure you can receive any verification message required by the official process.
Label the correct connection
After installation, identify which profile handles calls, messages and mobile data. Review automatic data switching if another SIM is present. A phone connected to Wi-Fi can appear to work even if the intended mobile data line has not been selected.
Do not delete first and ask later
If activation fails, keep the error message and follow the provider’s recovery route. Removing a profile may require replacement credentials. Before resetting or replacing a phone, check how the eSIM transfers; a normal device backup does not prove that the mobile profile will return automatically.
